My name is Matt Brown. I make movies, write about other peoples' movies, podcast about the movie business, and run the One Minute Film & Video Festival.

I have worked in the online media development space since 2000, specializing in computer-based training, instructional design, and social media consulting. I spent the past five years working for a major telecommunications company, before coming to my senses and returning to film and media project development full time.

Tederick is my production shingle, which produces my films, and is available for freelance in the areas of:

Film and video production
Video editing
Instructional design and e.learning development
Web development and administration
Social media and communications development
Voice-over performance

In my free time I support sexual rights, read comic books, walk everywhere, enjoy time travel, and consider whether Werner Herzog or James Cameron would win in a fight, or what a battle comprised entirely of Plo Koon action figures would look like. I enjoy watching things smash and break apart, and am terrified of animated mice.

My films have screened in Toronto, New York, Berlin, Seoul, Rotterdam, Karachi, Gimli, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I live in downtown Toronto with a couple hundred toys, one cat, and not my girlfriend (officially).

I am all over the web:
