David Koepp is one of the worst screenwriters in Hollywood, whose lacklustre
plotting and slapshod dialogue skills can occasionally be elevated by
gifted direction (Panic Room,
Jurassic Park)
but more often result in terrible, uninteresting movies with delusions
of unearned depth (Indiana Jones and
the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Spider-Man,
War of the Worlds).
